Pre-Orders

What is a pre-order

A pre-order is an order for a product that has been announced by a model manufacturer that is due for release at some point in the future. Those of you who have pre-ordered a model before will appreciate that any release date given is an estimate and subject to delay.  Some models can be delayed by months and some have even been known to be delayed by a couple of years.  the best advice we can give on pre-orders is to be patient.   We will update the listing if we receive any update on pre-orders.  This will state the date the update has been added and provide details of the update.

What are the benefits of  pre-ordering?:

  • Exclusive Releases: Pre-ordering provides access to models that may not be available from stock once they are released.
  • Secure your Model: High-demand models can quickly become scarce. Pre-ordering early ensures that you secure the models you are looking for.
  • Avoid Price Increases: In some cases, models may experience price increases after they are announced. Pre-ordering allows you to lock in the price at the time of your order, protecting you from potential price rises.

What payment options do I have when pre-ordering?:

There are two payment options when it comes to pre-orders.

  1. Pay the full amount upfront then you don't have to worry about having enough money when the model becomes available.  This method guarantees that you will be one of the first customers to receive your model as payment has already been received so we can pack it as soon as it arrives and get it out to you quickly.
  2. Pay a small 10% deposit and when we receive delivery confirmation from our supplier we will contact you to advise what date the balance of the payment will be taken.  This is normally around 1 to 2 weeks prior to receipt of our supplier delivery.

Pre-order Terms:

  • All descriptions, specifications and images used on pre-order items are provisional, and the actual production item may vary from that listed on our website.
  • Release dates are subject to change; they may be earlier than quoted but most often later.
  • If we cannot collect the balance payment on your pre-order, we will hold the pre-ordered items for you for 72 hours, pending an alternative payment method.
  • We will cancel your pre-order if we cannot collect the balance payment due on your pre-order after 72 hours have expired since our first attempt if no successful alternative payment method is provided.
  • Pre-orders are fulfilled on a 'first come, first served' basis. On occasions, such as when a manufacturer reduces production quantity, we may not be able to fulfil your pre-order, and we reserve the right to cancel your pre-order and accept no responsibility nor provide compensation for any losses, inconvenience or disappointment.
  • Sometimes manufacturers will supply stock in more than one batch.  If this is the case orders will be fulfilled based on order date.  If we cannot fulfil your order from the first batch we will advise of this and you can either wait for the 2nd batch to become available or you can cancel your order for a full refund.
  • If you want to cancel your pre-order please request this by emailing us at hello@superfastdiecast.co.uk providing your order number.
  • If we have to cancel your pre-order due to insufficient stock received by us, we will contact you to advise this and issue a full refund (if you paid in full) or a full refund of your 10% deposit if you chose this method.
  • We reserve the right to refuse pre-orders from any customer for any reason.
