A true icon of 1980s rallying, the Opel Manta 400 is captured in this superb 1:18 scale diecast model from IXO, depicting the car entered on the 1984 Rallye Manx by B. Fisher and A. Frazer.

The Manta 400 was Opel's legendary rear-wheel-drive rally weapon, developed from the Manta B and powered by a Cosworth-developed 2.4-litre 16-valve engine. With its distinctive wide-bodied styling, aggressive stance and unmistakable rally livery, the Manta 400 became one of the most memorable rally cars of its era.

The Rallye Manx, held on the demanding roads of the Isle of Man, provided a challenging combination of fast sections, narrow lanes and unpredictable conditions. The Manta's rear-wheel-drive character made it a popular and spectacular choice for rally competitors during this period.

This IXO model recreates the #37 Opel Manta 400 as competed by B. Fisher and A. Frazer, complete with its period rally markings and competition-ready appearance.
