The Sierra XR4i was produced between 1983 – 1095 as the top spec sporting model in the Sierra portfolio. Fuelled by a 2.8 engine with mechanical fuel injection and rear-wheel drive, the most notable physical feature of the car was the tremendous ‘bi-plane’ rear wing.
