SUNSTAR 1:18 Scale - 1983 Ford Escort Mk3 XR3i Cabriolet in Azure Blue (RHD) - 4988R
A true icon of 1980s British motoring, the 1983 Ford Escort Mk3 XR3i Cabriolet is brought to life in this superb 1:18 scale model from SunStar, finished in striking Azure Blue and produced in right hand drive (RHD) specification.
The XR3i was one of Ford's most desirable performance models of the era, combining the practical Escort Mk3 with sporty styling and fuel-injected performance. The arrival of the Cabriolet added an extra dose of style, making the XR3i Cabriolet a particularly aspirational car for 1980s motorists.
With its distinctive Mk3 Escort styling, sporty bodywork and open-top design, the XR3i Cabriolet became a familiar sight on British roads and remains a much loved classic among Ford enthusiasts today.
This SunStar model faithfully captures the character of the original, with its Azure Blue finish, Cabriolet body and right hand drive configuration making it particularly well suited to collectors of British market Ford models.
